Reytec is currently working on the Alan Rendl Regional Pump Station, Central Pump Station, and the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 400 – 1.40-MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 2 Expansion and Lift Station. John Hargrove Environmental Complex (JHEC) Expansion

Contract amount: $65,000,000

This project involves constructing a new non-potable water transfer pump station with associated buildings. Reytec was awarded three bid packages by the CMAR:

Construction of a new headworks structure;

Construction of SBR 5 and 6, rehabilitation of SBR 1-4, scum pump stations 1 and 2, tertiary filters, ASHT 1-5, belt press feed pump station, and an off-loading pump station; and

Installation of miscellaneous metals, process equipment, and piping systems.

Alan Rendl Regional Pump Station

Contract amount: $102,151,000

As a part of the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District’s surface water conversion program, the North Harris County Regional Water Authority has put a plan in place to comply with HGSD 2025 and 2035 mandates. This plan includes the construction of a new 40.3 MGD finish water pumping station. The work generally comprises connecting to an 84-Inch surface water transmission main, a new pump station building, and installing two 14,000-gpm and two 7,000-gpm horizontal split case centrifugal pumps with associated discharge piping and hydropneumatic systems for connection to the surface water distribution system. Further scope of work items includes a new stormwater detention pond and outfall structure, two 12.5 MG Ground Storage Tanks, chemical storage and feed systems, new administration and maintenance buildings, a medium voltage electrical service with related buildings and equipment for power distribution, distributed generation and motor control, sanitary sewer lift station and off-site forcemain, and associated HVAC, plumbing, and incidental utilities.

Central Pump Station

Contract amount: $92,860,000

Reytec is undertaking the construction of the West Harris County Regional Water Authority Central Pump Station which is responsible for receiving water from the upstream re-pump station and efficiently distributing it to Municipal Utility District Storage Tanks throughout the entire system. This comprehensive project encompasses the development of site facilities, including transmission lines, yard piping, primary and auxiliary power systems, cathodic protection, and security systems. Additionally, it involves the construction of chemical facilities, two 15 MG ground storage tanks, a high-service pump station housed within a dedicated pump building, an operations building, and a maintenance facility.

Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 400 – 1.40-MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 2 Expansion and Lift Station

Contract amount: $15,740,700

The work involves providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant and onsite lift station. This includes, but is not limited to: onsite lift station and lift station improvements; elevated headworks; main process basins; aerobic digesters; MCC building; non-potable water pump station; chemical buildings and storage; blowers; generator; new electrical service; detention pond; site grading and drainage structures; crushed concrete paving; piping, manholes, and inlets; protective coatings; electrical; controls; hydro-mulch seeding; duct bank; demolition items as specified; temporary facilities; construction materials testing; and all else specified on the construction drawings and contract documents necessary to construct, tie-in, and make a complete and operational system.
